It’s over a year now since we started the Child Care Center. Saturday time has always been a “by faith feeding” due to financial inadequacy. Those hard times did not stopped us from doing what God has called us to do…We continued the feeding, trusting God in our every move.
God saw our faith. We thank God for friends who continually support us in prayers and finances.
On July 2008, we started a prayer meeting at the Child Care Center. This is to encourage the parent of the kids to build their faith in the Lord.
The fruit of our labor has become evident when two of the children started to attend our church sunday service and later on been followed by other kids from the Child Care Center.At the moment there are 19 of them who keep coming back every Sunday. Praise God!!!
So now, we have an extension feeding on Sunday as well.
November 16, 2008, was the Thanksgiving Day of the Foursquare Gospel Church. The kids participated in the said program and have had their singing and dance presentation.
We have invited their parents as well and gave them a free lunch together with their children.
Things we look forward in year 2009, be able to teach those who cannot read and write, integrate tutorship to the children that are attending elementary grade.
By June, we are aiming to distribute bags and other school materials to the kids.
We are also planning to have gathering for the parents and introduce a livelihood program for them.
