Kinder Field Trip 2011

Done our Kinder Field Trip today. Sadly, only half of the students were able to come with us due to financial reasons but in spite of the rain, we still manage to tour the kids at the Crocodile Park and showed them different kinds of animals. We also went to the Butterfly House Garden and see the actual hatching of the butterfly from its pupa. The guide showed the kids their eggs and also the larva and explains to them the difference between the moth and the butterfly.

From the Butterfly House Garden, we then proceed to have lunch and exchanging of gifts. Our last destination was in the Mall where the kids enjoyed their train ride. Thank You very much for your continual prayer and support! Blessings and Merry Christmas!

Kinder School 2011-2012

We recently have a total number of 26 pupils in the class. Praise God for our volunteer teachers, Mrs. Rizalina Gotera who is assisting Mrs. Mila Resueno in Reading and Writing Class, Mrs Elsa Castrence ( Math teacher) and Ms. Kim Cama who is assisting the whole classes and teaching Values Formation as well . Our goal for the children is to have a triple education ( that is the education of the Heart, Hand and Mind)
We also have an ongoing Bible Study for the kinder parents, lead by Ms. Lolit de Juan. Praise God for the receptive heart of the parents and their faithful attendance every Friday morning. We are so encourage to see them being cooperative in every activities we have in School.In the afternoon, we encourage the parents to attend our Prayer Meeting as well. This is to help them become more dependent to God in their lives.

Please pray for the provision of our school materials ,classroom needs and honorarium for the teachers.Thank you very much!

Kid’s Fun Time (A Feeding Program)

With the great desire to reach families for Christ, We decided to open a program that would be an access for us to make this vision come into reality. So, we came up having “Kid’s Fun Time Program” every third Saturday of the month from 9am to 3pm. Praise God for the young people in our church who volunteered themselves to work for this ministry. They are the frontliners doing the Bible lessons for the children, teaching them how to truly worship our Creator and encouraging them to love the word of God. After the program, they are escorting some children to their houses to get to know their families for them to minister to them. Praise the Lord for our dedicated Kinder parents, Rose Jacquias and Ellen Zamora, William Zamora ( church members) who are constantly helping us in Food preparation with Mrs. Elsa Castrence as their chef.

Feeding

We have divided our bible lesson into two (the primary class) that is handled by Charize Castrence, a 12 years old girl from the church who has also a heart for the kids and Kim Cama hold the intermediate class. Recently, the new kids that has been added to the attendance are from ages 5-7 which crowded the primary class. Since the primary class are now growing in number, we are planning to train some of the older kids to handle another class for the primary. Our vision that these older ones would be future teachers and assistants for Child Care ministry . Currently they are assisting in serving food and cleaning up the dishes and arranging tables and chairs after feeding and they look after the cleanliness of the toilet. Praise God for the faithful volunteers who never gets tired in helping with this work…Elsa Castrence ( the chef cook), Ellen Zamora, Nida Medalla, Rose Jacquias, Meladel Aranez and some mothers. Some members of the Forsquare Gospel Church donated rice and vegetables.
The Aranez family and some children from the Feeding ministry are continually coming to church. We provided round trip fare and lunch for them. Meladel, the eldest of the Aranez family,who regularly attend the church services also actively inviting neighbor with her. Please pray for her for she is struggling in her relationship.
She has two children from other men and currently living in with the married man but she desire to have her life out from relationship entanglement.
Praise God for the spiritual progress of this ministry, ushering more souls for His kingdom.

Kinder School 2010

The Child Care Learning School was opened on the first week of July.

Teachers with the Kids

Praise God for the new volunteer teachers; Elsa Castrence ( who now teach the Math subject), Ellen Zamora who is assisting Pastora Mila Resueno in Reading and Writing subject, and Kim Cama continue to assist the whole classes and hold a Values Formation subject every Friday. We currently have 20 pupils, larger than the number of pupils last year. It result a crowded room and lack of space for the children to move around. We are looking forward to extend our room and hope to have more tables and chairs.

Snack Time

The children are provided for their feeding to help those who did not have their breakfast at home and for those who are malnourished.

Parents

Lolit de Juan continues to handle the ministry to the parents by conducting a Bible Study every Friday. There is a plan to visit the family and minister to them at home. Through this program with the parents they are now helping the Feeding ministry acting as volunteers. We are in need of support for their feeding, school materials and for our classroom needs.Thank you for your continual support in prayers and in finances.

Kinder Enrollment

Summer vacation is almost over and back to school again. We praise God for His faithfulness and for His provision on the previous school year: we have been able to distribute free uniform,shoes and socks for each child in kinder and gave them new bags as well through the sponsorship of Mosaic Baptist Church in Auckland, New Zealand.

This coming June is the opening of the class again and we are aiming
to enroll at least 20 children.

Please join with us in prayer for the following needs:

a) to be able to provide free complete uniform to the kinder pupils
b) support for their feeding
c) educational materials
d) daily sustenance for the teacher’s fare as we would be teaching the whole week beginning June.

Child Care Learning School Opening

With the thought of helping the least fortunate children that are just
roaming around the community uneducated, the Foundation has decided to open up a CHILD CARE LEARNING SCHOOL for tutorial and teach them basic arithmetic, reading, writing and values education.

At the moment, we only have 14 pupils. We thanked God for the Mosaic Baptist Church who provided the uniform of the children.

The children with their complete uniform and new bag.

Mila personally sewed the uniforms for the kids.They were so happy having these items and inspire them to go to school everyday.

Behind this program is a goal to reach and help the orphans, the abandon children and the whole family of each pupil for Christ by having a Mother’s Club where we conduct Bible study every friday morning, Praise the Lord for our dedicated workers who serves as a frontier for this ministry. We have had our first gathering together with the mother’s on October 2009 and have invited a students from Davao del Norte State College (one of our schools here in Panabo) to conduct livelihood program as well.

Kids Camp

The Foundation sponsored six children ( Melvin, Sharolyn, Donald,Melboy, Melody and Nisa) from the Child Care Center during the Kids Camp last May 11-14, 2009. Mila ( SVF- President) personally escorted and watched out the children with her niece Riza to cook for them.

The children have enjoyed the camp and made new friends as well.They have also learn a broader way about God.

Sharolyn, one of the children was amazed as one of the camp staffs mentioned her family situation. This child raised her hand as it was challenged that they will be prayed for.
It was so amazing how the Lord touched the life of this child. It has been a joy to see her interest to know the Lord Jesus in her life and it’s really encouraging how the Lord opened her young mind to understand His word.

Melvin (one of the kids) is actively involve now in Foursquare Church youth group.

Childcare Center Update

It’s over a year now since we started the Child Care Center. Saturday time has always been a “by faith feeding” due to financial inadequacy. Those hard times did not stopped us from doing what God has called us to do…We continued the feeding, trusting God in our every move.
God saw our faith. We thank God for friends who continually support us in prayers and finances.

On July 2008, we started a prayer meeting at the Child Care Center. This is to encourage the parent of the kids to build their faith in the Lord.

The fruit of our labor has become evident when two of the children started to attend our church sunday service and later on been followed by other kids from the Child Care Center.At the moment there are 19 of them who keep coming back every Sunday. Praise God!!!
So now, we have an extension feeding on Sunday as well.

November 16, 2008, was the Thanksgiving Day of the Foursquare Gospel Church. The kids participated in the said program and have had their singing and dance presentation.
We have invited their parents as well and gave them a free lunch together with their children.

Things we look forward in year 2009, be able to teach those who cannot read and write, integrate tutorship to the children that are attending elementary grade.

By June, we are aiming to distribute bags and other school materials to the kids.

We are also planning to have gathering for the parents and introduce a livelihood program for them.

Christmas Party 2008

The children’s Christmas party with their parents went so well.
We’ve prepared gifts for the children and have distributed a pack of rice for every parent that came.

Charize (11 year old girl) shared the bible lesson for the children. She is one of the teachers on our Saturday Feeding. In her young age, she is an encouragement to us to see her life being use by God,touching the lives of the kids in the Child Care Center and in our church as well.

After their Christmas party, the kids have had their open-air presentation in the afternoon (they danced , sing and presented a Christmas portrayal).

When the kids finished their presentation, gifts were also given to the children who are not yet attending the Child Care Center. It was such a joy seeing their smiles upon receving their gifts.

Thank God for the friends who have been faithfully supporting us
( in prayers and in finances). To God be the glory and honor forever!
